Rupa BK has been living in Gauriganga Municipality Ward No. 10 Udasipur. She has been living in a middle class family. She has a 5 family members in a family. She has studied up to graduation level. She is 32 years old.
On the day of 2074 /02 / 04, with the financial support of DCA, Dalit Women’s Rights Forum formed a group by keeping Dalit marginalized and economically weak people in the community and the group interacted about the importance of the group and the work and programs of Dalit Women’s Rights Forum Nepal. A group of 28 people was formed to give information about the work to be done and the name of the group was named Laliguras Women’s Group. In that group, Rupa sat as general member of the group. Dalit Women’s Rights Forum Nepal organizes different kinds of Dalit rights, women’s rights, social reconciliation, 8-day training, right to information, rights written in the constitution, municipal and ward policies, programs, plans, business plans, domestic violence, caste untouchability. , To start actively participating in trainings, meetings, interactions, discussions, group monthly meetings, network meetings, ward interactions, lobby and advocacy programs focusing on different types of women’s ability and leadership development, including judicial work.
After various trainings, she has been advocating and advocating for women in her community on the issues and concerns of the community. On her initiative, She has succeeded in registering the incident of caste violence in Gauriganga Muncipality ward no 10 with the relevant body. Under her leadership, she has succeeded in paying the penalty and fine to the victim. By trusting her, the municipality has now given her the position of social conciliator of ward No 10. Right after she became the coordinator, now 13 civil cases have been registered in ward No 10 within a period of 6 months, while 4 were settlement on papers, 3 were pending in the municipal judicial committee, and 6 cases are pending in the ward. On her initiative, the citizenship of 3 members of the community, the birth certificate of 5 people, the national identity card of 120 people, 50 people to fill the form of the Prime Minister’s Employment Program, the general security allowance of 5 people, the cases of 3 women violence cases to the judicial committee have also been taken. After an 8-day social reconciliation training organized by Dalit Women’s Rights Forum Nepal.
In her leisure time, she is also doing discussions about awareness in the community. When there were some problems in the community, the need of Rupa B.K. has been realized. She is well organized in his community and group. Due to her good work, now everyone has appointed her as the secretary of the group. In the community, she has to move forward by doing work that will be mentioned.
Shee has been working as a member of Shree Saraswati Secondary School Management Committee, secretary of Shree Laliguras Women’s Group, and coordinator of the Ward of Social Reconciliation. The policy and program of the financial year 2080/081 and the annual budget of Rs. 450000000 has been completed by her as the fund chairman of the building committee of the ward level Gaughar Clinic. Targeted programs and budgets of the local government are being implemented. Under her leadership, 34,50,000 budget and programs have been presented under 12 headings in the financial year 2081/082. In this way, from being a member of the group, she has succeeded in becoming a coordinator of social reconciliation in Ward No. 10. Her cooperation, coordination and trust towards the people is increasing day by day. She has also succeeded in introducing herself as a good social activist, social conciliator and good leader.
